Job summary

Prime Healthcare, at Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston, IL, is seeking a Telemetry RN for full-time day shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. The role involves delivering safe patient care, coordinating nursing activities, and teaching patients and families within the Telemetry unit.

Eligible candidates must hold a current RN license and BLS; ACLS and arrhythmia interpretation training are required within specified timelines. A sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 is available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• Current BLS certification.
• Basic arrhythmia interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Previous acute care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator management experience preferred.
• RN-BC or similar certification preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process in the Telemetry unit.
• Direct patient and family teaching and coordinate nursing activities.
• Communicate changes in patient condition and monitor cardiac status with the physician.
