Job summary

Mercy St. Louis is seeking a registered nurse for the Telemetry Level 2 (Tele2) unit. This part-time role (24 hours per week) focuses on high-acuity, stepdown-level care with strong cardiac monitoring and rapid clinical decision-making.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and support patients from admission to discharge with education and safe care planning.

Qualifications

• RN with valid license in the hiring state or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, ACLS preferred or in training.
• Experience in telemetry and cardiac care is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient-centered care on a telemetry unit.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and clinical changes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions.
