Job summary

Mercy Springfield is seeking registered nurses to provide patient-centered care on the 3D Med-surg Telemetry unit. Nurses will work 12-hour shifts (7am–7pm or 7pm–7am) with weekend rotation, in full-time or part-time capacity.

A Nurse Residency Program supports new grads and select experienced nurses, promoting growth and clinical excellence. Incentives include sign-on bonuses for varying RN experience levels, education assistance (loan forgiveness up to $20,000 and tuition reimbursement),

Qualifications

• Graduate or upcoming graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
• Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains accountability for patient care provided to assigned patients.
• Evaluates care effectiveness and coordinates with other departments.
• Supports Nurse Residency Program participation for new grads and select experienced nurses.
