Job summary

Sharp HealthCare in Oceanside is seeking a Telemetry Registered Nurse (CN II) to provide high-quality, autonomous patient care on a telemetry unit. You will monitor cardiac patients, administer medications, and develop individualized care plans while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

The role requires CA RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/NIHSS, and 2+ years telemetry experience. Shift is 7 PM–7:30 AM with a 12/36 schedule and a weekend rotation per the CNA agreement.

Qualifications

• RN must have CA RN license and BLS/ACLS/NIHSS.
• 2+ years telemetry experience or Transitional RN program with experience.
• BSN or ADN with telemetry experience as specified in the requirements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and care for patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring.
• Respond to acute changes in patient condition with rapid assessments and interventions.
• Administer medications and monitor effects per care plans and orders.
• Provide patient and family education on conditions, medications and lifestyle modifications.
