Job summary

Sharp HealthCare in Oceanside, CA seeks a Telemetry Registered Nurse (CN II) to deliver high-quality cardiac monitoring and patient-centered care in a telemetry unit.

The RN will perform assessments, respond to rhythm changes, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Requires CA RN license, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS; PCCN/CCRN preferred; weekend schedule minimums per unit needs.

Qualifications

• Telemetry nursing experience and proficiency in cardiac monitoring.
• Licensure as a Registered Nurse in California and BLS/ACLS/NIHSS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients on continuous cardiac monitoring and respond to rhythm changes.
• Administer medications including non-titratable drips and assess therapeutic effects.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for cardiac/neuro conditions.
• Document patient care accurately in the EHR according to standards.
• Provide patient and family education on conditions, meds, and lifestyle changes.
