Job summary

Sharp HealthCare is seeking a Telemetry Registered Nurse (CN II) to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a telemetry unit. You will work autonomously and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and outcomes.

The role requires an RN with BSN or relevant experience, ACLS/BLS, NIHSS, and a commitment to ongoing education. A relocation bonus of $5,000 is available for eligible new hires moving to San Diego area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Associate's with five years RN telemetry experience.
• Two years telemetry RN experience in telemetry or intermediate care required.
• Transitional RN program: 2 years RN experience in acute care required.
• California RN license required.
• AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professionals required.
• ACLS Certification required.
• NIH Stroke Scale required.
• Current ONS Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate required (Progressive Care Unit Only).
• Transitional RN Program: must obtain certificate within 6 months of hire or transfer.
• PCCN or CCRN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and care for patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring.
• Respond to acute changes in rhythm or condition and adjust care plans.
• Administer medications and non-titratable drips, monitor effects.
• Provide education to patients and families about conditions and meds.
• Document care in the EHR following standards of care.
• Serve as preceptor/mentor and support professional development.
• Act as Relief Charge Nurse as needed.
• Respond to cardiac emergencies with advanced clinical skills.
