Job summary

Sharp HealthCare in San Diego seeks a Telemetry Registered Nurse (CN II) to deliver high-quality, autonomous patient care on a telemetry unit. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Requirements include a BSN or ADN with telemetry experience, CA RN license, BLS/ACLS, and NIHSS. A $5,000 relocation bonus is available for new hires moving to San Diego; position is covered by a CNA collective bargaining agreement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred) or ADN with 5 years of telemetry experience.
• Two years RN telemetry experience required.
• California RN license required.
• BLS/ACLS/NIHSS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and care for patients on continuous cardiac monitoring.
• Respond to acute changes in rhythms and patient status.
• Administer medications and non-titratable drips; monitor effects.
• Develop individualized care plans for cardiac/neuro conditions.
• Document care accurately in the EHR and support patient education.
• Provide preceptorship to new graduates and learners.
• Serve as Relief Charge Nurse as needed.
