Job summary

Sharp HealthCare in Oceanside, CA seeks a Telemetry Registered Nurse (CN II) to deliver high-quality cardiac telemetry care. You will monitor patients, administer therapies, document in EHR, and lead within a collaborative interdisciplinary team.

Qualified candidates have a CA RN license, BSN/ADN with telemetry experience, BLS/ACLS, NIHSS, and a cardiology/telemetry background. Two 12-hour night shifts required with other weekend coverage. Sign-on and relocation bonuses available.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in California (CA RN).
• BSN or ADN with telemetry experience meeting requirements.
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required.
• ONS chemo-immunotherapy cert required for PCCU if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients on continuous cardiac telemetry and respond to rhythm changes.
• Administer medications, including non-titratable drips, with monitoring of effects.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for cardiac/ neuro conditions.
• Provide patient education and family guidance on conditions and lifestyle.
• Document care in EHR and participate in quality/safety initiatives.
• Serve as relief charge nurse and mentor new staff; participate in emergencies.
