Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a Telemetry RN float for a teaching hospital's Tele Float unit in Minnesota. The role requires MN RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and a minimum of 2 years of recent telemetry experience, plus prior travel nursing experience.

You'll work night shifts 3x12 (19:00-07:30), with a 1:5 patient ratio, and may float to nearby affiliates. Epic/Excellian charting will be used. Navy blue scrubs are required, and pre-start modules must be completed before assignment.

Qualifications

• Active MN RN license or pending licensure.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent telemetry/acute care experience.
• Prior travel nursing experience required.
• Epic/Excellian charting experience required.
• Experience with cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmia interpretation; rapid response/code activation.
• Experience managing cardiac and vasoactive drips (no titration).
• Experience with PCA and thrombolytic agents.
• Documents required: DOB, SSN, certification copies, Nursys verification, supervisor reference.

Responsibilities

• Acute care teaching hospital Telemetry/Med/Surg Tele Float unit support.
• Patient ratio 1:5; night shifts 19:00–07:30.
• Floats within hospital or to nearby affiliates as needed.
• Uses Epic (Excellian) EMR.
• Navy blue scrubs required.
• Complete pre-start modules before assignment.
• First-time travelers accepted; not open to local candidates (100 miles minimum).
