American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry Float Pool position in a hospital setting. The role requires telemetry experience and a MO or Compact RN license, with 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM and every other weekend. BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are required; TNCC is needed for ICU candidates.

New grads are not considered. The assignment includes orientation, unit floating, and some holiday coverage; EMR exposure is with Altera Sunrise EMR.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (MO or Compact) required.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• TNCC required only for ICU candidates.
• Minimum telemetry experience, including meds like Amiodarone, Cardizem, Heparin, Nitroglycerin.
• Progressive Care or ICU experience preferred.
• New grads will not be considered.

Responsibilities

• Nursing Resource Office Tele Float Pool position within a hospital setting.
• 12-hour night shifts, 1845-0715.
• Every other weekend required.
• No on-call requirements.
• Some holiday coverage required.
• Floating required based on skills, with priority to floating first.
• Uses Altera Sunrise EMR (formerly Allscripts).
• Provide nursing care within a telemetry float pool, floating across units as needed.
• Orientation includes multiple days of facility, clinical, and computer training before unit placement.
