Qualifications

• BSN required and Illinois RN license with BLS certification.
• Associates may apply with commitment to obtain BSN within 3 years.
• Experience in telemetry nursing and inpatient care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient assessments reflecting age-specific needs and safety considerations.
• Develops and updates nursing care plans with interdisciplinary input.
• Educates patients and families about diagnosis, treatment, and discharge needs.
• Coordinates care with physicians and other healthcare team members.
• Documents treatments, responses, and educational activities accurately.
