Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for General Medical Telemetry on the Glenbrook Hospital unit in Glenview. The role is full time, daytime hours are 7am–7:30pm with rotating weekends, totaling 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities include independent patient care on a dedicated unit, applying the nursing process, supervising unlicensed staff, collaborating with the care team, and ensuring safety and high-quality patient experience. IL licensure and BLS/CPR are required; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Current professional Nursing Licensure in IL required.
• NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred.
• BLS/CPR Certification for Healthcare Provider required.
• Prior nursing experience preferred; CNA experience considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for a patient population on a specific unit.
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care.
• Communicate and collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
• Contribute to safety outcomes and promote high quality patient experience.
