Job summary

Swedish Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for General Medical Telemetry at Glenbrook Hospital. The position is full-time, 7am-7:30pm with rotating weekends, on a 36-hour schedule, in a unit delivering comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities include applying nursing process, ensuring safety, and guiding unlicensed staff while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes and a high-quality patient experience.

Qualifications

• Current professional Nursing Licensure in IL is required.
• Graduation from an NLN-accredited nursing program is required.
• BSN strongly preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification for Healthcare Provider required.
• Prior nursing experience; CNA experience preferred for new graduates.

Responsibilities

• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care on a unit.
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating care.
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in care delivery.
• Communicate and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Contribute to safety and high-quality patient experience.
