Job summary

TriHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 4200 Telemetry Unit at Bethesda North Hospital in Montgomery, OH. This PRN/Optional position offers varied shifts and exposure to advanced cardiac care in a stroke-certified unit with continuous monitoring.

You will work closely with physicians and the care team to deliver holistic nursing care, discharge planning, and patient education in a high-acuity telemetry setting.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing required.
• New hires must obtain BSN within 5 years of hire.
• BLS/CPR certification required for healthcare providers.
• Registered Nurse in good standing.
• Knowledge from biological, physical, behavioral and nursing sciences.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial and ongoing patient and family assessments and documents findings.
• Plans and coordinates care with the healthcare team and discharge planning.
• Maintains a safe, therapeutic environment and administers medications as prescribed.
• Evaluates care plans and collaborates with patients, families and the team to revise plans.
