Job summary

Elliot Health System is opening a new Adult Stepdown Unit (ASDU), a 12-bed unit designed with telemetry monitoring and private rooms for improved nursing satisfaction. The role supports acutely ill medical, surgical, cardiac, trauma, and psychiatric patients with a 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio.

RN hires require NH licensure; BLS during orientation with ACLS preferred. The unit emphasizes evidence-based care and collaboration across services to ensure safe patient care and staff development.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with RN licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience; telemetry with dysrhythmia management preferred.
• Current NH, compact, or multistate RN licensure required; BLS on orientation; ACLS preferred.
