Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Telemetry on a full-time 12-hour day shift. A $20,000 Commitment-Incentive Bonus is available to qualified candidates, with a 4:1 patient ratio and a 24-bed unit offering self-scheduling and supportive leadership.

The ideal candidate will hold an active RN license, have basic life support (BLS) within 30 days of hire, and ACLS/PALS within six months.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state (US).
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• 1 year telemetry or cardiac experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and nursing interventions.
• Care for telemetry/cardiac patients and monitor cardiovascular status.
• Document accurately in the medical record and update care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and support self-scheduling unit.
