Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Telemetry on a full-time 12-hour day shift. A $20,000 Commitment-Incentive Bonus is available to qualified candidates, with a 4:1 patient ratio and a 24-bed unit offering self-scheduling and supportive leadership.

The ideal candidate will hold an active RN license, have basic life support (BLS) within 30 days of hire, and ACLS/PALS within six months.

The RN Telemetry team at Frye Regional Medical Center offers a supportive, team-oriented culture where nurses collaborate closely to provide exceptional cardiac and telemetry care. The 24- Bed unit features self-scheduling, 12-hour shifts, and every-other-weekend rotation, helping promote flexibility and work-life balance. Nurses gain valuable experience caring for a diverse patient population while working alongside experienced leaders and a strong interdisciplinary team.

How you'll contribute

A Registered Nurse (RN) Who Excels In This Role

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments

What we’re looking for

Applicants should have a current state RN license. Bachelor's degree preferred but not required. Additional requirements include:

• Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.
