Qualifications

• Must have Basic Life Support (BLS) competency.
• Minimum six months of experience in telemetry or related role.
• Dysrhythmia recognition course preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and monitor cardiac rhythms and rhythm components.
• Place telemetry leads and ensure correct lead placement.
• Notify nursing staff of rhythm changes or lead issues.
• Maintain central monitoring station operations and troubleshoot technical problems.
• Keep telemetry equipment and supplies inventory up to date.
• Uphold patient confidentiality and comply with organizational standards.
