Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician at Highland Park Hospital. The role supports RNs/LPNs with patient care, safety, and comfort, performing essential nursing tasks and patient queries on a busy unit.

Must be eligible to work in the US, with CNA training preferred and current BLS certification. No prior experience required; a structured orientation and ongoing training are provided, along with competitive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients and visitors, answer call lights and phones, assist within the facility.
• Perform hourly rounds on all assigned patients.
• Learn and assist with safe patient handling, transfers, lifting and repositioning.
• Provide basic nursing care including bathing, grooming, oral care, eating and bed making.
• Assist with admission, discharge and transfers, room setup and orientation.
