Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited CNA training course is preferred.
• Completion of at least one nursing clinical rotation in medical or surgical nursing preferred.
• Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider required or to be obtained within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Support patient care in the Emergency Department with attention to safety and accuracy.
• Assist with patient movement and transfers using appropriate equipment when non-emergency.
• Assist during lifting up to 50 pounds in urgent situations and follow PPE protocols.
• Maintain communication with the healthcare team and read/record patient charts.
