UCI Health in Irvine, CA is seeking a clinical nurse to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement a plan of care for a specific patient group, applying clinical skills across the care continuum.

You will evaluate outcomes, readiness for discharge, mentor students and new staff, and function as a Patient Care Coordinator as requested by leadership. This role requires BSN and flexibility for variable shifts.

Formación

• Minimum of 2 years telemetry experience.
• Minimum of 2 years inpatient clinical nursing experience in adult acute care.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Ability to work variable shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement a plan of care for a specific group of assigned patients.
• Evaluate patient outcomes, effectiveness of plan of care, and readiness for discharge and revise plan or make referrals as necessary.
• Act as a role model and mentor to students and nurses new to the unit.
• Function as a Patient Care Coordinator as requested by the supervisor/manager.
