UCI Health, part of the UC Irvine medical system, is seeking an experienced clinical nurse to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and manage care for a defined patient group. The role emphasizes telemetry, bedside nursing, and discharge planning within a busy acute care setting.

The successful candidate will hold a BSN, have strong English communication, and adapt to variable shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Formación

• Minimum of 2 years recent telemetry experience.
• Minimum of 2 years recent inpatient clinical nursing experience in adult acute care.
• All external candidates must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Ability to work variable shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement a care plan for assigned patients.
• Assess, plan, intervene and advocate for the patient throughout the continuum of care and discharge planning.
• Act as a role model and mentor to students and new nurses; function as a PCC as requested by supervisor.
