UCI Health in California is seeking a clinical nurse to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement a plan of care for a specific group of assigned patients. The nurse will evaluate patient outcomes, effectiveness of the plan of care, and readiness for discharge while mentoring students and new nurses on the unit.

• Inpatient nursing experience required (adult acute care preferred).
• Telemetry experience or completion of EKG class required.
• RN with BSN registered/licensed in the state of California.
• BLS/ACLS certifications preferred.
• Flexibility to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement plans of care.
• Assess, plan, intervene and advocate for patients across the continuum of care.
• Evaluate patient outcomes and readiness for discharge; revise plans as needed.
• Serve as a role model and mentor to students and new nurses on the unit.
• Act as a Patient Care Coordinator as requested by supervision.
