Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years recent inpatient clinical nursing experience in adult acute care or completion of UC Irvine orientation.
• Minimum 1 year telemetry experience or completion of EKG class.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required for external candidates; ADN with BSN plan acceptable internally.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a plan of care for assigned patients.
• Evaluate outcomes, readiness for discharge, and revise plans as needed.
• Act as role model/mentor to students and new nurses; function as PCC as requested.
