UCI Health in Orange County seeks a clinical nurse to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan and implement individualized care. The role involves assessing patients, intervening, and advocating across the continuum of care, with ongoing evaluation of outcomes and discharge planning.

As a mentor to students and new nurses, the nurse will function as a PCC per supervisor requests, supporting a dynamic, fast-paced unit environment at UC Irvine Medical Center.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years inpatient adult acute care nursing experience or completion of UC Irvine Medical Center Clinical Nurse I orientation.
• Minimum 1 year telemetry experience or completion of EKG class.
• Internal UCI candidate with 2+ years UC service and ADN with BSN progression.
• External candidates must have a BSN.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement the care plan.
• Assess, plan, intervene, and advocate for patients throughout the continuum of care.
• Evaluate outcomes, adjust plans, and refer as needed for discharge.
• Serve as a role model and mentor to students and new nurses; function as PCC.
