Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Less than 1 year of experience requested.
• Must enroll in the right educational program to receive Cardiac Rhythm Test within one year.

Responsibilities

• Operates cardiac monitoring systems and rhythm screens.
• Observes ECG monitors and reports rhythm changes to staff.
• Maintains and cleans equipment and reports malfunctions.
• Sets up central station and monitors alarms.
• Assists rhythm interpretation and labels events on strips.
• Keeps accurate logs of patient monitoring status.
