Qualifications

• Completion of medical terminology course preferred.
• Completion of recognized cardiac rhythm interpretation course preferred.
• BLS Certification from HCA approved vendor
• National Telemetry Association Certification preferred.
• 6+ months Telemetry Tech experience preferred.
• 6+ months hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Telemetry Tech is responsible for monitoring, interpreting and reporting data from telemetry monitored patients.
• Recognizes rhythms with potential to alter patient physiology and promptly notifies licensed staff with pattern changes per policies and procedures.
