CHS Career Site seeks a Monitor Technician to continuously monitor telemetry, interpret rhythms, and document findings for the care team. You will promptly report rhythm changes to nurses and licensed staff while ensuring equipment functions and is properly configured for patient safety.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting monitors, coordinating with colleagues, and maintaining correct lead placement during shifts. Comfortable working nights with strict adherence to policies is required.

Qualificações

• Telemetry or EKG interpretation course during orientation.
• 0–2 years of clerical and/or clinical medical experience.

Responsabilidades

• Continuously observe and interpret telemetry monitors and record rhythm strips.
• Identify rhythm changes and notify nurses or licensed personnel.
• Maintain effective communication with care teams for coordination.
• Troubleshoot and resolve telemetry equipment issues; escalate when needed.
• Organize and track monitoring equipment for admissions/transfers/discharges.
• Ensure correct lead placement and electrode application.
