Zusammenfassung

LMH Health is seeking a Monitor Technician for the nights shift to join the patient care team. The role supports RN supervision, performs unit receptionist duties, and continuously monitors cardiac rhythms with the telemetry system.

You will troubleshoot monitors with nursing staff and IT, greet customers, and maintain confidentiality while delivering accurate reports and documentation for admissions, transfers, and discharges. This is a part-time night position with excellent benefits.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Current BLS certification.
• Successful completion of monitor tech training program within 6 months of employment.

Aufgaben

• Maintains ongoing, high-level surveillance of patient's cardiac rhythms and notifies nursing/clinicians of any rate/rhythm changes according to clinician/provider orders.
• Initiates and discontinues monitoring equipment on admission, transfer, or discharge.
• Performs configuration as necessary.
• Performs clerical duties related to admission, discharge, and documentation of patient information.
• Maintains telemetry system.
• Answers telephone and communicates clearly when receiving information from units or providers.
• Uses clear and complete communication with unit personnel when delivering information about changes in patient rhythm.
• Gives report to oncoming shift.
• Maintains and stocks all designated equipment, including telemetry, and transport monitors.
