Responsibilities

Continuously observes and interprets patient telemetry monitors, recording rhythm strips at intervals.
Identifies rhythm changes and promptly notifies licensed personnel of any concerns.
Maintains effective communication with peers, staff, physicians, and leaders for coordinated care.
Troubleshoots and resolves monitoring equipment issues, escalating when needed.
Organizes and tracks monitoring equipment during the shift for admissions, transfers, discharges.
Ensures correct lead placement and electrode application for optimal telemetry monitoring.
