AdventHealth in Dade City, FL is seeking a Monitor Technician for the night shift to support telemetry monitoring and patient care. You will observe ECG patterns, document findings, and promptly notify nursing staff of any abnormalities, ensuring alarms are active and accurate throughout the shift.

The role requires basic computer skills, English proficiency, strong communication, and a collaborative approach.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and speak conversational English.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Pleasant telephone manner and organizational skills.
• Ability to work with patients/public in potentially difficult situations.
• Familiar with medical terminology and arrhythmia identification.

Responsabilités

• Monitors telemetry and observes ECG patterns, notifying nursing staff of abnormalities.
• Maintains monitor alarms per policy and ensures alarms are audible each shift.
• Documents in accordance with department policy and maintains telemetry logbook.
• Supports departmental quality standards and initiatives and participates in improvement activities.
• Maintains a clean and organized work environment and sanitizes equipment.
