Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (required for all hires).
• Dysrhythmia Interpretation Certificate required within 30 days of hire and maintained.
• BLS (AHA) certification required and maintained.
• Minimum six months of healthcare experience or as a Monitor Technician.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms via direct monitors in the ER/units.
• Transcribe physician orders when CPOE/EMR is unavailable.
• Verify tests and prepare patient charts and forms daily.
• Assist nursing staff with indirect patient care as needed under RN supervision.
