Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent or related experience required.
• Current Dysrhythmia Interpretation Certificate within 30 days of hire.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire.
• At least six months previous experience in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms via direct cardiac monitors.
• Transcribe physician orders in absence of CPOE.
• Prepare and complete each patient's chart for necessary forms.
• Assist nursing staff with indirect patient care duties.

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Current Dysrhythmia Interpretation Certificate

Current BLS (AHA) Certificate

Six months previous experience in Healthcare or as Monitor Technician
