Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required for all hires.
• Current Dysrhythmia Interpretation Certification must be maintained.
• BLS (AHA) certification required at hire and maintained.
• Six months healthcare or monitor technician experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms via direct monitors in the department.
• Transcribe physician orders if CPOE/EMR unavailable.
• Verify lab and radiology orders and completions.
• Prepare and maintain patient charts and ER records.
• Order supplies and assist RN as needed without compromising dysrhythmia monitoring.
