AdventHealth in Port Charlotte is seeking a Monitor Technician to support telemetry monitoring and patient surveillance. You will document arrhythmias, maintain logs, and promptly notify nursing staff of abnormalities to ensure patient safety and high-quality care.

Candidates should have at least a high school diploma, basic EKG knowledge, and competence with typical office software. The role requires effective communication and flexibility to support 24/7 operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; monitor tech experience preferred.
• Read, write, and speak conversational English; basic EKG knowledge.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office; clear communication.

Responsabilités

• Observe monitors, document normal and abnormal EKG patterns, notify nursing staff.
• Maintain telemetry logbooks and ensure alarms are set and audible.
• Document per policy, participate in performance-improvement efforts.
• Assist in keeping the work area clean and organized; support department staff.
