AdventHealth in Port Charlotte, FL is seeking a Monitor Technician to join our team. You will observe telemetric data, document findings, and promptly notify nurses of abnormalities to ensure patient safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 1+ year monitor tech experience preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification preferred.
• Good communication and computer skills required.
• Able to prioritize multiple duties in a fast-paced setting.

Responsabilités

• Observes monitors, recognizing normal/abnormal EKG patterns and notifies nursing staff.
• Maintains telemetry logbook and prints as required.
• Ensures alarms are set and audible; troubleshoots as needed.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Participates in ongoing education to stay current with best practices.
