• Recognizes cardiac arrhythmias and reports promptly.
• Records telemetry strips each shift and ensures 12-hour strips are printed and distributed.
• Interprets rhythms and measures intervals; identifies age-appropriate differences.
• Maintains patient rights, dignity and confidentiality.
• Responds to calls and alerts from units and families with professional communication.
• Performs telemetry functions and maintains logs and documentation.
• Ensures correct assignment and preparation of telemetry units; cleans units after use.
• Maintains telemetry supplies and reports equipment issues to management.
