Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• BLS certification required on hire.
• Monitor technician experience in acute care preferred.
• Must read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Observes telemetry monitors and reports rhythm changes promptly.
• Records telemetry strips and ensures distribution per policy.
• Interprets rhythms and notes age-appropriate differences.
• Maintains patient rights, confidentiality, and professional communication.
• Performs telemetry functions and cleans units and equipment.
• Supports the health care team and safety protocols.
