Job summary

Union General Hospital, Blairsville GA, is seeking a Monitor Tech/ICU for Night shift. You will obtain, analyze, and document patient rhythm strips under the supervision of an RN, interpret orders, answer calls, and help maintain telemetry units.

The role includes basic ward clerk duties and patient care tasks as needed. The ideal candidate holds a HS diploma or GED, CNA or MA certification, and BLS certification within 60 days.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• CNA or Medical Assistant certification required.
• BLS certification to be obtained within 60 days of hire.
• EKG Class & Competency.
• Minimum up to 1 year related experience; 2–5 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain, analyze and document patient rhythm strips under RN supervision.
• Interpret and process physician orders, answer phones, and maintain telemetry units.
• Perform ward clerk duties and basic patient care activities as needed.
• Work under supervision of the RN or Nurse Manager.
