Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Observes Telemetry Monitors
• Recognizes cardiac arrhythmias and reports promptly
• Records telemetry strips per shift and distributes 12 hour strips
• Interprets rhythms and measures intervals for age-appropriate differences
• Maintains confidentiality and provides excellent customer service
• Notifies RN of rhythm changes and safety concerns
• Prepares telemetry units for patient use and maintains logs
