Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Boardman in Youngstown, OH is seeking a Telemetry Technician / Monitor Tech for a full-time day shift with 12-hour rotations. You’ll continuously watch monitors, respond to alarms, verify rhythm interpretations, and maintain accurate EKG monitoring under RN supervision.

Qualifications include completing the EKG class within 30 days and passing required competencies. Preferred backgrounds include LPN or RN student with EKG training; we offer tuition reimbursement,

Qualifications

• Must complete and pass EKG class for Monitor Techs within 30 days of start date.
• Pass required tests/competencies as determined by Select Medical.

Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor all assigned monitors and respond to alarms promptly.
• Verify identification of basic and lethal rhythms and interpret EKG waveforms.
• Ensure strip interpretations are validated by RN.
