Job summary

UAB Medicine is seeking a Telemetry Lead to supervise staff in the Monitor Room on the Full-Time Nights schedule at UAB St. Vincent's Birmingham. You will lead shift operations, act as a technical resource for the team, and ensure work is assigned, monitored, and aligned with policies.

You will oversee orientation and training of associates, contributing to a high-quality patient care environment within Alabama’s largest health system.

Qualifications

• Education and experience as specified in the posting.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned staff in performing activities or tasks of the telemetry department.
• Lead or coordinate shift operations of assigned activities, resources, and/or associates.
• Serve as a technical or functional resource and perform similar duties with staff.
• Assign, monitor and review progress of work. Monitor and report compliance with policies and/or procedures.
• Oversee and evaluate orientation and training of assigned associates.
