Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ seeks a mid‑career Data Analyst to support the SM-3 Integration & Verification team. You will analyze engineering, test, and system performance data using MATLAB and scripting to drive design decisions and program execution.

Requirements include a BS in an engineering field, 5+ years of experience, and MATLAB/Python/Bash proficiency. You will build automated tools, generate technical reports, and collaborate across engineering disciplines, all within DoD program standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in an engineering field and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong MATLAB data manipulation, modeling, and visualization skills.
• Experience writing technical documents and presenting results.
• Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform quantitative analysis on engineering, test, and system data using MATLAB and scripting.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain data processing scripts to automate workflows.
• Produce clear technical reports and presentations summarizing methods and findings.
• Collaborate with Systems Engineering, Test, and cross-functional teams to deliver insights.
• Validate data integrity, identify trends, and troubleshoot anomalies in systems integration.
• Support development of analysis plans, data architectures, and process improvements.
• Apply statistical methods and engineering principles to evaluate system behavior.
• Ensure documentation and analyses align with program, engineering, and compliance standards.
