RTX is seeking a mid-career Data Analyst for the SM-3 Integration & Verification team in Tucson, AZ. The role requires strong MATLAB skills, scripting experience (Python/Bash), and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for engineering decisions.

The ideal candidate will develop automated analysis tools, produce detailed technical reports, and collaborate across systems engineering, testing, and other disciplines to ensure data integrity and support program goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline with strong mathematical foundation.
• Minimum five years of relevant data analysis experience in engineering contexts.
• Proven ability to write technical reports and present complex information clearly.
• Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform quantitative analysis on engineering, test, and system performance data using MATLAB and scripting environments.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain data processing scripts to automate workflows.
• Produce technical reports and presentations detailing methods, findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
• Collaborate with Systems Engineering, Test, and cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights.
• Validate data integrity, identify trends, and troubleshoot anomalies in integration contexts.
• Support development of analysis plans, data architectures, and process improvements.
• Apply statistical methods and engineering principles to evaluate system behavior for decision-making.
• Ensure documentation and analysis products meet program and compliance standards.
