RTX in Tucson, AZ, is seeking a mid-career Data Analyst to join the I&V team. You will perform quantitative analyses on engineering and test data using MATLAB and scripting tools, develop automated data workflows, and produce technical reports informing design decisions and program execution.

The role requires a BS in an engineering discipline and 5+ years of relevant experience, with a clearance eligible or active DoD clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (Electrical, Aerospace, Systems, Mechanical, Physics/Math) or related field.
• Experience with MATLAB for data manipulation, modeling, and visualization.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
• Experience writing technical documents and presenting findings.
• Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Perform quantitative analysis on engineering, test, and system performance data using MATLAB and other scripting environments.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain data processing scripts to automate workflows and improve analysis efficiency.
• Produce clear, comprehensive technical reports and presentations summarizing methods and conclusions.
• Collaborate with Systems Engineering, Test, and other cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
• Validate and verify data integrity, identify trends, and troubleshoot anomalies as well as systems integration.
• Support development of analysis plans, data architectures, and process improvements.
• Apply statistical methods and engineering principles to evaluate system behavior and support decision-making.
• Ensure all documentation and analysis products align with program, engineering, and compliance standards.
