Job summary

Frederick Health Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join 4G Telemetry and Progressive Care on a full-time night shift.

The CNA will support the RN and care team in delivering safe, quality patient care on a 47-bed unit focused on monitoring and observational needs for adult and geriatric patients. Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, performing hourly rounds, recording care data, and coordinating with the nursing staff.

Qualifications

• CNA certification is required by the Maryland Board of Nursing.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend medical terminology.
• Ability to use equipment and technology to perform job duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living under RN supervision.
• Perform hourly rounding including Pain, Potty, Personal Needs, and Possessions.
• Record routine data and care provided on documents.
• Report patient status and progress to the nurse.
• Transports patients as needed and floats to other units as assigned.
