Job summary

Frederick Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for the 4G Telemetry and Progressive Care unit. You will work under RN supervision to support adult and geriatric patients with acute and complex medical needs, including continuous cardiac monitoring.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to regulations, and contribution to high-quality patient care in a Magnet-designated hospital environment.

Qualifications

• CNA certification from the Maryland Board of Nursing.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend medical terminology.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
• Ability to follow RN-directed plans of care.

Responsibilities

• Assist the RN and interdisciplinary team in patient care.
• Provide activities of daily living support (bathing, grooming, dressing).
• Record routine data and report changes to the nurse.
• Perform hourly rounds and basic vital signs as delegated.
• Transport patients and assist with mobility as needed.
