Job summary

St. Francis Medical Center in Los Angeles is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join the Telemetry Department. You will assist with daily living activities and provide basic nursing care under RN supervision in a non-critical patient setting.

Full-time, night shift. Requires CNA certification at hire, current BLS, knowledge of medical terminology, and preferred six months of acute care experience. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, required.
• Current BLS upon hire and maintain current.
• Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months of previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.

Responsibilities

• The CNA in the Telemetry Department is a certified assistive person who assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients and assists in maintenance of a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.
