Job summary

The Hospitals of Providence - East Campus in El Paso, TX is hiring a Night RN Charge Nurse to lead the unit, ensure safe patient throughput, and supervise nursing and support staff. You will collaborate with providers to maintain high-quality patient care and coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited nursing program, with at least 1 year of RN experience, and active licensure plus BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee admissions, transfers and discharges.
• Supervise staff and coordinate patient care per nursing process.
• Administer medications safely and ensure QA and infection control.
• Respond to emergencies and follow hospital incident command procedures.
