The Hospitals of Providence in El Paso, TX is seeking a Med Surg/Telemetry Charge Nurse (RN) for a full-time Day shift. The role combines direct patient care with staff guidance, unit coordination, and supervision to ensure safe, high-quality nursing care.

Ideal candidates will have 1 year of RN experience, current licensure, and BLS, with ACLS/PALS/NRP as policy requires. This position reports to the clinical leadership and participates in emergency code procedures per hospital protocol.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• 1 year of RN experience.
• Currently licensed to practice as required by law; BLS certification (AHA) required; ACLS and/or PALS and/or NRP as applicable by policy.

Responsabilidades

• Provide guidance and supervision to nursing staff and ensure a safe environment.
• Oversee patient throughput, admissions, transfers and discharges, and coordinate unit workflow.
• Administer medications safely and in a timely manner according to hospital policy.
• Collaborate with physicians and administration to maintain high-quality patient care and compliance with safety regulations.

Educación

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Bachelor's or master's degree in nursing (BSN preferred)
